Overnight Trail Rides (currently not available)
For great horseback riding and camping out the “cowboy way”, try an Overnight Trail Ride. We provide horses and grub, you provide your own tents, bedrolls, lanterns, etc.  There’s no limit on how much gear you can bring!  Our Overnight Trail Rides are perfect for those wanting a little more adventure than our usual daily horseback rides. Depart from the barn at 1:00pm for a 2 to 4 ½ hour ride to our private, streamside camp. (Worried about the riding time? No problem! This ride can be fully customized for your group.) Unpack and set up your gear as your wranglers care for your mounts. Then enjoy a well-deserved, filling meal to include a juicy, charbroiled steak, fried potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, cornbread, lemonade, classic cowboy coffee, and dessert! Lounge and tell stories around the fire, or try your hand at horseshoes or roping till you’re ready to doze off in read old west style under the Rocky Mountain stars. As the songbirds sing, wake up bright and early to pack up camp, get the horses fed and tacked up for the day. Then, fill up with an eye-opening breakfast to include a western egg scramble, fruit, Dutch oven biscuits, orange juice, and classic cowboy coffee.  Finish your overnight adventure by mounting up on your trusty steed for a 1-2 hour ride back through the Roosevelt National Forest to our ranch.
